The Muskogee County Assessor is an elected position within county government. They assess all property for ad valorem taxes. The assessor also prepares the county tax roll, then forwards it to the County Treasurer. 

Other Responsibilities include,

• The preparation and maintenance of all real and personal property records, this includes cadastral maps.

• Implementing a 4 year visual inspection plan for all property. 

• Auditing property of which the fair cash value differs one submitted by taxpayer.

• Serves as a member of the Board of Tax Roll Corrections

• Maintenance of online GIS maps
